A nice variety of broad bean. Gives a large harvest in a small area. Harvest often, the pod should have grown out but be slim. The pods are eaten cooked. Can be frozen with advantage, slightly pre-swollen. Thrives best in well-drained, rich, moisture-retaining soil in a sheltered position. Water abundantly. The plants need support.
